It’s been a busy few months balancing school and college applications, but I’ve also been lucky enough to spend some time painting and outfitting my new car trailer, working on my car, and getting out on track.

In mid-October, I participated in OktoberFast at VIR with NASA Mid-Atlantic. With some more on-track practice under my belt, I am thrilled to announce that a week from today (November 16–17), I’ll be taking the next big step in my racing journey: working toward my racing license! A huge thank you to Kaizen Autosport for donating a seat in their racing school.

About Me

horse and rider going over jump

Hi! My name is Maya Brandt, and I am an incoming freshman at Clemson University where I will be studying Automotive Engineering. I love cars, robots, and horses! When I'm not at the track or in the lab with my FTC robotics team, you'll probably find me at the barn, on the ski slopes, or reading a book.
