Winter Update & Thank Yous
Hey guys!! I am still alive (barely). I’ve been meaning to post an update for a very long time now, but senior year has been a whirlwind. These past few “snow” (it’s really just ice) days have given me the perfect opportunity to finally sit down and write. The car is enjoying a nice, long winter break up at VIR until we can get a logbook for it in the spring. Once we get the logbook, it will be available to rent! Also, I’d like to take some time to thank everybody who has helped me with this project:
First, my Board of Directors, who have overseen all the legal aspects of this project. Specifically, John Landrum, who not only serves on FitToMove Inc.’s board but has also given me amazing advice throughout this journey.
To my sponsors, thank you so so so much for your support! Each and every one of you helped bring this project together. I would like to shout out Eric Yagel for taking me under his wing and answering so many of my (occasionally dumb) questions. I’m looking forward to some friendly competition on-track (where I will hopefully beat you one day lol)!

Next, I’d like to thank my parents. Thank you for supporting me during this crazy endeavor and always encouraging me to dream big. My mom has helped me with accounting, the ongoing sponsorship campaign, and taught me how to stay on schedule. To my dad, I don’t even know what to say. You helped me find and foster my interest in automotive engineering. You stepped in and spray-painted a majority of the car when I got my wisdom teeth removed so that we could stay on schedule (turns out wearing a spray-painting mask while your cheeks are double the size is really painful). You handled the rusted bolts that I wasn’t strong enough to get off myself. I can’t wait to see all the crazy places this car takes us, and I can't wait to continue scaring you as you watch me zoom around the racetrack, as I’ve watched you so many times before.
And last, but not least, I’d like to thank the person who inspired this project: my horseback riding trainer. Your strength and optimism despite everything is so inspiring. You’ve taught me to trust my abilities, take risks, and keep showing up on the hard days. This car, and everything it represents, exists because of the mindset you helped instill in me. Thank you for inspiring me to be stronger, braver, and more determined, both as a horseback rider and as a person.
