Thank you so much to Kaizen Autosport for an amazing two days of racing school! I learned so much and feel way more confident whipping my little Fit around the track.

On the first day, we worked on car control with the skid pad and an autocross. On the second day, we sent it with on-track practice, wheel-to-wheel drills, and four one-lap races. Finally, we wrapped up with two feature races. Despite the sea of BMWs, Porsches, and Radicals, I found a "relative" to race against!

I also "won" a trophy (RIP cone). Overall, Kaizen’s racing school was the perfect mix of instruction, competition, and fun. I can’t wait to see where I go next!

Happy Mother's Day! It’s a rainy day today and a perfect time to get some work done! School is coming to a close soon…which means exams...

About Me

Hi! My name is Maya Brandt, and I am a senior at Trinity School of Durham and Chapel Hill. I love cars, robots, and horses! When I'm not at the track or in the lab with my FTC robotics team, you'll probably find me at the barn, on the ski slopes, or reading a book. My favorite book is The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe.
