It’s been 5 months since I announced that I would build a B-Spec Honda Fit over the summer to raise awareness and funds for the Parkinson's Foundation! Today, I am almost done with the suspension rebuild and upgrade. If you have been following along, you know that the car’s on-track debut is in exactly four weeks. I am optimistically hopeful that everything will come together just in time.

At this time, I would like to ask for YOUR help in supporting my cause by donating to my charitable organization FitToMove Inc., through Zeffy. I chose Zeffy because it charges no fees for charitable contributions, ensuring 100% of what you give goes toward my cause.

Why did I wait 5 months for this ask?  Well, it took the IRS this long to formally approve the 501(c)(3) status of FitToMove Inc, so that now any donations are tax-deductible. Zeffy will provide you with the necessary documentation.

Happy Mother's Day! It’s a rainy day today and a perfect time to get some work done! School is coming to a close soon…which means exams...

About Me

wmremove-transformed (3) (1)_edited.jpg

Hi! My name is Maya Brandt, and I am a senior at Trinity School of Durham and Chapel Hill. I love cars, robots, and horses! When I'm not at the track or in the lab with my FTC robotics team, you'll probably find me at the barn, on the ski slopes, or reading a book. My favorite book is The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe.
